Beskrivelse
Summary:Cholecystitis is a pathology that consists of inflammation of the gallbladder caused by stones in its interior, in 85% of the cases it is constituted by cholesterol stones and 15% of biliary pigments, which is the cause of the obstruction of the cystic duct, in mild cases causing edema of the biliary wall and in others it reaches the level of gangrene, necrosis and perforation of the organ. It commonly manifests with nausea, vomiting, fever or colicky pain in the right upper quadrant. Chronic cholecystitis is a frequent clinical problem, representing between 20-25% of medical emergencies, manifesting itself more in females than in males. The present clinical case refers to the analysis of a 32-year-old male patient with severe pain in the abdomen, especially in the right upper quadrant, thermal elevation, sweating, chills and vomiting, with more or less 1 day of evolution. During this clinical study the care plan was applied detailing each phase of the same starting with the assessment, planning and activities that prioritizes the patient's needs, thus evaluating the appropriate treatment and was discharged in stable conditions.
