The present investigation is based on the study of a 22-year-old female patient who has high myopia problems; which, she tends a clinical picture characterized by the following symptoms: blurred vision of distant objects, visual fatigue, headaches when she present allergy problems, excess tearing in the eyes, eye irritation, the objective of the study is to be able to analyze visual health for the application of contact lenses as a solution option that helps improve their quality of life. Physical, objective and complementary examinations were carried out; attribution for which, the use of descriptive and observational research on the information shown by the patient under study was considered, the purpose of which was to obtain as much information as possible about the patient´s condition. The results of the clinical examination allowed us to establish that the visual acuity of the patient without correction was OD: 20/100, LE: 20/200 In addition, it is concluded that the accommodation of contact lenses improved the visual health of the patient. patient where he presented monocular visual acuity of 20/70 and binocular of 20/20, which are adequate indicators regarding the vision of the person studied. |
