总结:SUMMARY In the present research the response of three varieties of strawberry (Fragaria vesca), subjected to three substrates, using semi-hydroponic system channels polyethylene, research was conducted at El Sagrario parish, canton Ibarra, Province Imbabura, located at 00 ° 19 '58.13 "N and 78 ° 07' 17.44" W at an altitude of 2,238 meters over level sea, with bioclimatic annual average temperature 17 ° C, 67% relative humidity , 623 mm of precipitation; dry climate - Mediterranean area considered life according to Holdridge dry forest Montano Low (BS - MB). With the objectives of assessing the efficiency of better behavior substrate strawberry varieties, evaluate the best variety of strawberry, subjected to different substrates and economically analyze the treatments. The design of randomized complete block (RCBD) with three repetitions and twelve treatments are used. The total area of the experiment was 98.9 m2, useful area of 0.64 m2 per plot. Substrates was evaluated: bulk density, moisture retention by weight, capillarity, drying times of capacity of substrate to dry substrate content physicochemical substrates agronomic and crop yield was assessed: percentage of seizure, height plant, days to flowering, number of fruits, fruit diameter and yield per experimental unit. All variables were subjected to analysis of variance. To determine the statistical difference between the means of treatments, the Duncan test at 5% significance was used. It was determined that the best results came in the Albion strawberry variety which showed high statistical significance in the variables evaluated germination percentage, plant height, number of fruits, fruit diameter, fruit yield. While in the variable days to flowering were no significant differences appeared. The substrate (Pomina + + peat humus), allowed a better agronomic performance in the studied factors of germination percentage, days to flowering, number of fruits, fruit diameter, fruit yield; while the substrate (sand + peat humus +) reached a better plant height and treatments that influenced the most was the variety agronomic performance in Albion substrate (sand + peat humus +) reaching the best results in the variables germination percentage , plant height, days to flowering; while the substrate (Pomina + peat humus +) it could reach as many fruits, fruit diameter and fewer days to flowering. The highest yield per unit area was registered with the variety of Albion in all media set, however it should be noted that most utility costs what I offer in soil substrate with a profit $ 29,667.08 USD / ha.
