Gestión turística del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Vinces

This case study analyzes the tourism management of the Autonomous Decentralized Government of Vinces Canton, through a qualitative research approach. This case study included documentary research of secondary sources, generated by entities related to the activity of the Canton. Additionally, an interview was conducted with the director of the Tourism Department of the Municipal GAD of Vinces, to obtain a more detailed understanding of tourism management in the Canton, contrasting it with the findings of the documentary research. In this way, the main problems of tourism planning in Vinces, along with the investment made in tourism in the Vinces locality, will be identified. The research also includes a SWOT analysis, where the main strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats faced by the Municipal GAD in the tourism field can be identified. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to analyze the tourism management of the Municipal GAD of Vinces Canton in order to find alternative solutions that allow for the growth of tourism in the Canton, conducting an analysis on the tourism management carried out by the city's GAD. Similarly, proposing recommendations as an alternative solution to the problem.
