Summary:The objective of this research work was to identify digital illiteracy in the meaningful learning of seventh-year basic students of the Emigdio Esparza Moreno Educational Unit, the methods that were used allowed to know the reality within the educational process allowing to have a clear vision of This problem was able to analyze general ideas and then recompose into a more relevant concept. This research tries to break the digital gap between technology and the digitally illiterate individual, but it is also used as an instrument for teacher training in the institution. It is linked to the technological training of students, making an analysis of the mastery level of teachers in technological tools and their use in the classroom as part of their methodological strategies, surveys, interviews are instruments used for the analysis required by the problems raised around the digital illiteracy suffered by this educational sector. The conclusions reached through the collection of information teachers do not use technological resources, and ICTs in their classes, have not received training and continue to use traditional teaching instruments. The proposed proposal constitutes the alternative solution through interactive virtual courses that are necessary for the improvement of teaching performance.
