Análisis de los procesos de gestión de citas, para el centro de especialidades medical house del cantón ventanas.

The Medical House Specialties Center is a healthcare institution (IPS) located in the Ventanas canton, Los Ríos Province, specializing in providing services in the field of Gynecology and Obstetrics. It has gained growing acceptance from the Ventanas canton population, resulting in a significant increase in patients. For these reasons, certain shortcomings have been identified when it comes to achieving optimal administration for managing scheduled appointments for various procedures. The present case study titled "Analysis of appointment management processes for the Medical House Specialties Center in the Ventanas canton" aims to analyze the appointment management processes for their automation and thus address the previously mentioned needs. To this end, the research question posed is as follows: "How does the automation of the medical appointment administration process benefit the Medical House Specialties Center located in the Ventanas canton, Los Ríos Province?". To address this question, descriptive research methods with both inductive and deductive approaches were used since they allow for a description of the operation of these processes, followed by an analysis and verification. The chosen data collection tool in this case is the interview. In conclusion, this research, through the analysis of these processes, seeks to improve patient care and provide a clear overview of the necessary processes that need to be covered through appointment management automation.
