Summary:Business innovation contributes to survival and competitiveness in the local, regional, national and international market. The Variety Commercial of the city of Babahoyo is aware of this reality and has established product innovation, service innovation and sustainable innovation, to optimize business success and customer acquisition. The purpose of this research is to reflect on the effect of innovation strategies in Commercial Variety. The study carried out an extensive literature review allowing the analysis of business innovation strategies in relation to competitiveness. The research design is quantitative, non-experimental (Hernández and Mendoza, 2018) in a transversal way, the application of the survey questionnaire instrument was carried out to the inhabitants of the Babahoyo canton that seeks to establish loyalty strategies.
