description The research highlights the need to design activities that adjust to the different learning rhythms and styles of children with Special Needs Education, using playful, technological and sensory resources. In the ‘Réplica Eugenio Espejo’ Educational Unit, the necessary activities are not being applied, so the aim is to establish a type of didactic activity that the teacher can use in the classroom that adapts to the needs of each child with special educational needs, that improves their cognitive, social and emotional skills, and that provides them with a positive integral development. Through a theoretical review and the application of the inductive and deductive method, descriptive research was carried out, using a qualitative approach, the relationship between didactic activities and the progress of children with Special Needs Education was evidenced. The results that were found were that each child with a special educational need associated or not with a disability deserves individualized teaching, reaching the conclusion that each didactic activity carried out in the classroom will guarantee comprehensive development and active participation with access to a learning opportunity, regardless of the difficulties that each child has. In conclusion, it is detailed that the didactic activities used in the classroom do not favor the Special Needs Education of the children because they present difficulties of low academic performance, do not relate appropriately with their peers and do not develop their skills at the same pace as other children who do not have disabilities.
