总结: | This research project is centered on providing a linear cutter for metal cutting in the electromechanical laboratory at the Technical University of Cotopaxi in La Maná extension. The design and construction of the cutting machine begin with its structure, where the belt and pulley transmission system are usually located, these ones are responsible for transmitting the engine rotating movement to its crank connecting rod, which reaches the last bearing point at low revolutions and a large torque. This machine type requires a low rotating speed to perform the metal cutting. Sequentially, it is essential to know that the cooling system is located at another point of the machine, and also a fuel pump was adapted to operate with a direct power supply of 12V DC; For obtaining direct current for refrigeration usage, it is necessary to count with the assistance of a transformer located in the control panel. The implementation of a control board allowed to start the electric motor of 2 HP at 220Vac, and also control the rotation speed of the motor, while a KEWO VFD AC 0.4kw ~ 2.2kw 220V Ac was used as an inverter variable of frequency for the 3rd motor phase. However, this machine can cut different types of metals despite their hardness. Finally, the tests developed in the metal cutter operation reveal an achievement for its clean and accurate cut. |
