Summary:Family dysfunction mainly affects the child's education, which leads to behavioral problems such as low self-esteem, violent behavior and learning difficulties, for this reason the following was investigated: Family dysfunction in the aggressiveness of high school boys and girls Millennium Educational Unit "Canchagua" of the Parish La Canchagua, Canton Saquisilí, and Province of Cotopaxi. The objective of the investigative work is to prevent childhood aggressiveness among infants of the Preparatory Sub-Level to raise awareness in the students' families of the relevance of affectivity at home. A research of mixed qualitative and quantitative approach has been promoted, which helped to collect information in the place where the problem was detected, to generate data the survey was applied as a technique with the structured questionnaire. The results obtained allow us to take into account that the guiding cause, by which dysfunctional families are generated, implies the lack of communication and the demonstration of affectivity. Information that enabled the design of the workshop for parents on "Family and good behavior of the boys and girls of the institution". Based on the above, the study is useful, because it will provide support to affected children from the educational context, as well as let parents know how they can get involved in values education through playfulness. As for the direct beneficiaries, they were the children and parents of the institution that was the object of the study.
