| Περίληψη: | The growing demand for safe meat foods has led to the search for new alternatives to increase animal feed efficiency and the quality of their meats. Plant species for their richness in natural products and their phytobiotic additive function, the use of broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. Italica) for its high content of vitamin C, A, folic acid and other important substances such as antioxidants, antimicrobial, anti-inflammator, immuno modulator, protein source for supplementation and growth promoter in animals. The research was developed in the San José de Poaló parish of Latacunga Canton, beginning with the bromatological examination of broccoli flour to determine its nutritional properties, the productive variables were evaluated in the chickens, as well as the serum immunoglobulin levels A(IgA) from the blood and the cost-benefit study of the nutritional ration was carried out, using 210 chickens of the Cobb 500 line of 1 day of birth, with the random distribution of 7 groups made up of 30 chicks and 3 repetitions per group: T1 diet base (Control), T2 base diet + broccoli flour (5%), T3 base diet + broccoli flour (10%), T4 base diet + broccoli flour (15%), T5 base diet + broccoli flour (20 %), T6 base diet + broccoli flour (25%), T7 base diet + broccoli flour (30%), the experimental units were distributed under a Completely Random Design (DCA). From the result of the bromatological examination, 17.4% of protein was obtained, an average weight at week 8 of T7 (30%) of 3167.24 g higher than the other treatments and especially to T1 Control, a mortality of 16, 6% in T1 Control at the fourth week vs T7 that mortality was 0%, the Ig A level of T7 (30%) was 0.5 mg / ml vs T1 Control was 0.35 mg / ml, as As a result of healthier chickens, the yield to the carcass without viscera, feathers and blood of the T7 (30%) was 4056.67 g vs T1 Control of 3031 g. and a net profit of 1.0535 for T7 (30%). From the data obtained, it is concluded that the addition of broccoli flour in the diet of broilers increases weight, promotes the immune system, preventing viruses and bacteria from affecting poultry production and requires minimal mortality parameters. |
