Riassunto:The present investigation was developed in the Quero canton, province of Tungurahua, with the objective of analyzing and evaluating three levels of inclusion of dry beer bran (5%, 10%, 15%) in substitution of corn during the growth and finishing phase of broiler chickens. For the investigation, 100 Broiler chickens of the Cobb500 line of 01 day of age with an average weight of 45 g were used, which were fed balanced fattening with the addition of different levels of beer bran. These chickens were divided into four treatments identified as follows: T0 - (control treatment - Base diet), T1 (Base diet + 5% beer bran), T2 (Base diet + 10% beer bran), T3 (Base Diet + 15% beer bran. During reception, feeders and drinkers were equally located, balanced feeding corresponding to the initial phase was administered, drinking water with electrolytes was added in the first two hours of arrival. On day 26 100% morochillo was provided as the only food and in order to prevent metabolic diseases, the Newcastle plus Bronchitis revaccination was carried out, with a dose of one drop, vitamins were immediately added to the drinking water to control the stress produced by the vaccine. The mentioned diets continued to be supplied until day 49. In conclusion, it is indicated that the treatment with the best productive performance was T3 (balanced feed at 15%), throwing final weights in the eighth week of 3396.7 g. With respect to weight gain, it can be established that the T3 treatment, which consists of the supply of balanced feed at 15%, is the one that provided the highest value of weight gain of the chickens in most of the study weeks, reaching in the week 7 a value of 942.63 g. Regarding the cost benefit, it was obtained that treatment T3 (balanced feed at 15%) is higher compared to treatments (T0, T1 and T2), since according to the results it is evident that for each dollar invested during production of broilers during the growth and finishing phase, net benefits of $0.85 will be obtained, being from the economic point of view a treatment that provides excellent profitability.
