| Tóm tắt: | This research work was carried out in the experimental poultry project of the Veterinary Medicine Major, Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Faculty at Technical University of Cotopaxi, located in the Cotopaxi Province, Latacunga Canton, Eloy Alfaro Parish, Neighborhood Salache Bajo, with an altitude of 2777 meters above sea level at an average temperature of 10 ° C. For this research 100 broilers chickens of the Ross line.308 at the age of 1 day were used and it was continued until at the age of 49 days to evaluate the use of three levels (2, 4 and 6%) of Tuna leaf flour (Opuntia spp) both in the broiler chicken feeding as in the growth and finishing phases in CEASA. The birds were assigned to four dietary treatments; T0 (Control treatment - base diet), T1 (Base diet + 2% +Tuna leaf flour), T2 (Base diet + 4% + Tuna leaf flour) and T3 (6% addition of Tuna leaf flour). A completely randomized design (DCA) was applied with five repetitions for each treatment, randomly and homogeneously in the experimental units. The analysis of variance was carried out with 5% Bonferroni significance tests to differentiate between treatments. The following results were obtained with greater weight gain, in the growth stage (544.1 g) in T1, and in the fattening stage (276.6 g) in T0; To food consumption. It is concluded that the highest consumption obtained is for T1 (1172.54 g) and in lower consumption is that of T0 (1142.1 g). Regarding about duct performance, they were reflected in the T1 that starting from an initial live weight of 2573.28 g, and it is obtained a yield of 72.79%. |
