Summary:From ancient times in Ecuador, countless games were made in which children gathered innocence, spontaneity, creativity to execute the activity they could think at that moment las ollas encantadas, la rayuela, el trompo, los pepos, las canicas, la plancha, el hueco, las escondidas, las cogidas and others that let the imagination and currently these traditional games are not played anymore, that is the reason the great need to encourage, motivate and do not forget through time something ours and which should not be forgotten. Physical activity is any movement made by the body, which makes muscles work and requires more energy to be at rest. Walking, running, dancing, swimming, playing, working and others are practical examples of physical activity that one way or another it benefit the health and psychomotor producing positive effect in short and long term. Proposal was developed as a guide design workshops for the dissemination and maintenance of traditional games in the students of the "Alicia Marcuard Yerovi" Municipal Educative Unit in the Salcedo Canton, Cotopaxi Province. This research work seeks to all people who are taking part in it they might know, promote and practice the traditional games through physical activity as a complement to their lives.
