Add Tag | Summary: | This research job led to develop of a manual for integral management of solid waste in the Aguaclara neighborhood, with the objective to know what type of waste is generated in the study area and checking if an adequate characterization of the waste is complied with. A field visit was carried out to collect information about the site. In order to know the number of sitizens, a census was taken on the neighborhood to determine the number of dwellings that exist and how many people live there. Data the Obtained from the population census of the Aguaclara neighborhood, a diagnosis was made by current situation of the neighborhood with a field file and a survey, to establish the reality about the characterization of generated solid waste at home. To determine the amount of solid it, a sampling method was implemented that includes a period of 8 days, where on day 1, an industrial sheath was delivered to each house where all the waste was deposited. The time on day 8 all the industrial covers were collected with the waste generated in 8 days. A place was adapted for the reception and classification of all the waste that was generated, the weight of the unsorted solid waste gave the amount of 73.1 kg of these generated on 8 days. Once classified, weights were obtained according to the type of waste that was generated: With the weights of each solid waste, per capita amount generated in the Aguaclara neighborhood was obtained. With these quantities obtained it was possible to elaborate the integral solid waste management manual for the Aguaclara neighborhood. Where good environmental practices are detailed in reducing, recycling and reusing said generated waste, at this way the conservation of the environment can be guaranteed. |
