| Streszczenie: | In Ecuador the inclusion process of students with special needs in the regular educational system has had little changes, not only the structural but also cultural, social, scientific, philosophical, and legal aspects; the attitudinal barrier continues to be the strongest one. The purpose of this research study is to address an issue about the curricular adaptations through the implementation of research methods, techniques, and instruments in order to obtain data and information of study population. It is important to mention that curricular adaptations is a current topic of great significance, since the teacher plays an important role of support with students who have difficulties and he is assigned to develop and implement planning and performance concepts, strategies, techniques, and methods. The teacher will implement the required changes in the curriculum in order for student achieves a meaningful learning. Authorities, teachers, and parents were surveyed they represent the total sample of the research study. The final results prove that in the institution there are cases of students with special needs and due to it teachers implement the curricular adaptations in their block planning according to their basic knowledge, these have been acquired during training executed by the Ministry of Education. It implies that teachers should update their knowledge through trainings, guides, workshops, or manuals that strengthen it at the moment to adequate and implement their planning, it will answer to the diversity of needs in each student, and it will help the process of inclusion by improving the educational level and its system. Finally, it will help the development of a society more egalitarian and fair. In conclusion, the curricular adaptations are necessary since, students with special needs can receive a caring and quality education. They can seize the scientific advances as well as the legal benefits that the State offers, with a principle of equality for all people. |
