description At the Pichilingue Tropical Experimental Station, technology generation center of the National Agricultural Research Institute (INIAP) Quevedo-El Empalme, 250 cocoa plants were established with the aim of evaluating the effect of the dose of the biostimulant based on seaweed extract in nursery stage. The experimental units consisted of 10 plants, 50 plants per treatment, the plants were grafted with the CCN51 variety applying the following treatments: T1 Seaweed 30ml / 2 lt water, T2 Seaweed 25ml / 2 lt water, T3 Seaweed 15 ml / 2 lt water, T4 Seaweed 10ml / 2 lt water and the Control. The experimental methodology that was used was the Completely randomized Design with 5 treatments and 5 repetitions to comply with the proposed objectives, the following variables were taken into account such as plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), height of twig (cm), twig diameter (mm), number of leaves, leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), root length, root weight survival percentage of these data were taken at 20, 30 and 40 days after applying the product, keeping a record in the field book where, according to their treatments, it was announced that with the organic seaweed fertilizer, 40 days after the investigation, the following most relevant measures were determined for the diameter and height of the stem 4.72 mm, and 17.86 cm, for the diameter and height of the rod 3.44 mm, and 13.93 cm., for the number of shoots 2.88, with a number with leaves of 7.76 and a width and length of 4.16 cm., and 12.56 cm., with a length and root weight of 33.30 cm. , and 7 g. and the percentage of graft survival was 100% in the treatment 25 ml / 2lt of water and 10ml / 2lt of water.
