| Zusammenfassung: | The present work of degree is about the reading comprehension, representing one of the most important pedagogical tools in the learning and teaching process. The teacher with help of didactic strategies allows to communicate the contents and make them more accessible to the student's understanding. A didactic strategy does not work by itself; their worth is facilitate the students learning and generate pleasant and conducive environments for educational training. Therefore, the objective of this strengthening reading comprehension through active strategies for third-level students at the "Ramón Páez" Primary School. The methodology is framed in the qualitative method, for action-investigation focus which, is generated in a cultural and community space. It has double purpose: action to change an institution and investigation to generate knowledge and comprehension. Regarding the proposal called "Reading and our secret power", has the purpose to apply different strategies with activities that started from the student’s interest where they are the active protagonist of learning. This investigation will contribute to strengthening the reading in children and teachers, it means, the promoting the reading habit by turning in interesting hobby instead of an obligation. Finally, the reading comprehension and the application of various strategies will allow students' intellectual development. |
