| Shrnutí: | The objective of the present study is to evaluate the effect on the chemical composition and in vitro degradability of the tree legume Gliricidia sepium, of the dry matter and organic matter in its different cuttings periods 30, 45, 60, and 75 days. By analyzing the chemical composition and in vitro degradability of the legume, it will allow us to know its nutritional quality, in addition to being a means to be aware of compositional changes and the availability of dry matter and organic matter for ruminant animals. One of the main problems of livestock is during the dry and transition season, when the pastures insufficiently cover the requirements of the animals. A completely randomized design (DCA) was used with four treatments, seven repetitions of Gliricidia sepium with different cut-off ages at 30, 45, 60 and 75 days, with an incubation of 0, 3, 9, 12, 24, 48 , 72, and 96 hours; To establish the differences between the measures of the treatments, the Tukey multiple range test (P≤0.05) was applied. Table 2 details the analysis of variance (ANDEVA) scheme. As a result, in the in vitro degradability of dry matter (DM) and organic (OM) there was a positive effect of the level of ruminal degradation in one of their ages. At 45 days of the cut-off period at 48, 72 and 96 hours (MS) and at 30 days of the cut-off period at 48 72 96 (MO). Keywords: chemical composition, degradability, Gliricidia sepium, in vitro |
