| Sumario: | Daily didactic strategies represent great importance within the teaching-learning process, with the help of them it is possible to discipline mathematical subjects in different ways, with the objective of reaching a significant knowledge; which will allow the teacher to implement and innovate in teaching and achieve a constructive learning of mathematics. This research allowed the application of didactic strategies that contribute to the development of mathematical logical thinking in fifth grade students of the Nicolás Infante Díaz Replica Educational Unit, which is in the city of Quevedo, Province of Los Ríos. The methodology used was based on the quantitative approach, which allowed specifying the analysis of the descriptive-explorative research, using field and bibliographic-documentary research as a basis. The study population considered was six teachers and 67 students, to whom a survey was applied with relevance for the diagnosis of the problem. With the results obtained it was possible to identify little application of didactic strategies in the teaching-learning process of mathematical logical reasoning of the surveyed population, also, it was possible to specify that students do not work in groups at the time of learning, that is, teachers use individual strategies in class. As a solution option, the elaboration of a training plan to apply didactic strategies in the teaching-learning process of mathematical logical reasoning of the study population is proposed |
