| Yhteenveto: | This educational development project investigates the impact of school accompaniment on the academic performance of high school students of the “15 de Diciembre” Educational Unit, in the city of Quito. It is based on the understanding of family support as a crucial aspect in the educational development of students, especially in the secondary education stage. This study is framed in the Ecuadorian context, where the role of the family in the academic training of young people is of particular importance due to its cultural and social roots. It is considered descriptive research, the sample was made up of 75 parents, who made up the study unit. To collect the data, the survey technique was used, the Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient obtained a value of 0.986, which indicates high reliability and the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin KMO coefficient was 0.906, which reflects a Acceptable estimation between variables, the data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results show a strong level of family support for the students of the aforementioned educational unit. Through this study, we seek to contribute to the existing knowledge about the importance of family support in the Ecuadorian educational field and provide a solid empirical basis for the design of effective interventions aimed at strengthening this relationship and thus improving the academic performance of high school students. baccalaureate. |
