| Yhteenveto: | This research project focuses on the application of psycho-pedagogical coaching in eighth- grade adolescents from the “Pueblo Nuevo” Educational Unit, aiming to enhance their academic performance and address their socio-emotional needs. The methodology used was qualitative, based on direct observation, interviews, and discourse analysis, allowing for a deep understanding of students’ perceptions, emotions, and experiences in the face of academic challenges. The results revealed that adolescents experience high levels of stress, exam anxiety, and low academic motivation, all of which negatively impact their performance. Additionally, a lack of organizational and emotional regulation skills was observed. Based on this diagnosis, psycho-pedagogical coaching is proposed as a support strategy that fosters self-esteem, self-regulation, and decision-making, enabling students to better navigate their educational process. It is concluded that psycho-pedagogical coaching has a positive impact on adolescents’ school life by providing emotional and practical tools to improve their well-being and academic performance. Its implementation is recommended as part of institutional support programs to promote students’ comprehensive development. |
