Zusammenfassung:In this investigation the essential oils of orange (Citrus sinensis) and tangerine (Citrus nobilis) as inhibitors of fungi (Rhizopus stolonifer and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides) isolated from papaya evaluating the percentage of inhibition of radial growth and spore by reproduction was assessed In Vitro. Oils extracted from the bark of fruit and mandarin orange laboratory acquired ISABRUBOTANIC S.A. de Ambato while oils leaves extraction was performed using the method of hydrodistillation in Basic Chemistry Laboratory of the Universidad Técnbica Estatal de Quevedo, isolation and inhibition of fungi was performed in the laboratory of Microbiology; for the experimental model used is required 12 treatments with 2 repetitions. Radial growth were evaluated for seven days and then the spore count was performed in a Neubauer chamber to observe the difference between the levels of the treatments under study statistical analysis was performed with a block factorial arrangement with 2 repetitions considering AxBxC as Factor A: Essential oils (orange and tangerine), Factor B: Origin of essential oils (leaves and bark of the fruit), Factor C: concentrations (1%, 2% and 4%); for data analysis Statgraphics statistical package was used for the separation of means of treatments levels of significance Tukey test (p <0.05) was performed. The results revealed significant difference between factors A, B and C in both the percentage of radial inhibition and spore therefore recommended by Factor A (essential oil Citrus sinensis), Factor B (essential oil leaves ) and Factor C (4% concentration of oil) they inhibited since radial and spores of Rhizopus stolonifer and Colletorichum gloeosporioides growth. Keywords: Essential oils, papaya, inhibition, radial growth, Rhizopus stolonifer and Colletorichum gloeosporioides.
