| Resumo: | This research was made in the canton Machala at the Technical University of Machala in Santa Inés farm located at km 4.5 via Machala passage in 2012, in order to study new alternatives on the use of garlic as a natural prebiotic in the poultry. He raised the following objectives: Determine microbial loads according to age in relation to prebiotic studied. Determine the weekly weight gain of each member of the study groups. Determine the chickens feed conversion. To make this work we investigated a total of 100 broiler chickens at the farm aforesaid Studies determined that the use of garlic as a prebiotic could maintain the microbial load at levels not patojenos. |
