En octubre de 2015, la deflación mensual fue de -0.09%, revirtiendo el registro positivo del mes inmediatamente anterior (0.26%). En el resultado general por agrupaciones, 7 divisiones de consumo cuya ponderación suma 70.22% registraron resultados negativos, en tanto que las restantes 5 divisiones cuya ponderación agregada alcanza el 29.78%, registraron resultados positivos.
