The current research work is the result of several years of personal teaching and observation of the English students of different levels. In most of the cases, students have achieved successful outcomes from their learning processes; however, in other cases the students have abandoned the intent to learn English due to different causes, many of which are greatly influenced by motivation or demotivation, as I have witnessed. Part One of this research document contains the problem identification, the setting, the variables that are part of the research, the objectives and the justification.
