The present work has the purpose of knowing the reality of the Tax Administration in the field of administrative simplicity and its influence in the fulfillment of tax obligations. This research was based on the appreciation of the special taxpayers of the city of Ambato on tax aspects such as the regulations and their changes, the way in which they are kept up to date, the complexity of the taxpayers and the taxpayers' Purpose of collection in relation to the redistribution of wealth; Also analyzed the evolution of the collection of special taxpayers in the city of Ambato, considering that this group contributes with 60% of the total collection of the same city. Finally, the activities that the Tax Administration has carried out to improve administrative simplicity and voluntary compliance in relation to the economic, political and social environment of the country were identified by establishing recommendations to the Tax Administration to improve administrative simplicity and compliance with the tax obligations.
El presente trabajo tiene la finalidad de conocer la realidad de la Administración Tributaria en el ámbito de la simplicidad administrativa y su influencia en el cumplimiento de las obligaciones tributarias. Esta investigación se basó en la apreciación que tienen los contribuyentes especiales de la ciudad de Ambato sobre aspectos tributarios como la normativa y sus cambios, la manera en como ellos se mantienen actualizados, la complejidad de las mismas y la percepción que tienen los contribuyentes sobre la finalidad de la recaudación en relación a la redistribución de la riqueza; también se analizó la evolución de la recaudación de los contribuyentes especiales en la ciudad de Ambato, considerando que este grupo aporta con el 60% de la recaudación total de la misma ciudad. Y por último se identificó las actividades que la Administración Tributaria ha realizado para mejorar la simplicidad administrativa y el cumplimiento voluntario en relación con el entorno económico, político y social del país estableciendo recomendaciones a la Administración Tributaria que permitan mejorar la simplicidad administrativa y el cumplimiento de las obligaciones tributarias.
