El “gusano blanco de la papa”, Premnotrypes vorax es la piincipal plaga en el cultivo de papa. ( 15 ). Los agricultores en su afán de proteger al cultivo recurren al uso intensivo de pesticidas, lo que representa un alto nesgo para el medio ambiente y la salud de las personas. Ciissman ( 7 ), reporta que en los análisis efectuados a una muestra de agricultores que cultivan papa, presentaron efectos neuroíógicos relacionados con el uso de pesticidas. Con base a los antecedentes indicados el presente proyecto se planteó los siguientes objetivos: -Buscar alternativas de control de “gusano blanco” P. voraxf, con productos de baja toxicidad que los actualmente recomendados (acetato yprofenofos). -Identificar el ( los ) insecticidas, y la (s) dosis adecuada (s), de origen biológico (micoinsecticidas) ó de ¡síntesis química pao de baja toxicidad para el control áá “gusano blanco” de la papa P. vorax.
The potato “white worm” P. vorax is the main pest in the potato crop ( .15 ). The farmers use a lot of pesíicides to protect the crop. It's represenf a huge darnage for the- environmeat and for people health, Crisman ( ? ) reported that the anaíysis marked a group of potato’s faraaer showed neurology effects for pesticides use, For these reasons the objectives of the present project were: - Look for altematives to control the “white worm" P. vorax., using iovv toxiciiy producís Shan the reeomendated ones (acéfalo and profenofos). - Identify tíie insecticide (s) and the correct cióse (s), of the biological insecticide (mícoinsecticide) or the chemical síntesis of low toxicity to control the potato “white worm”, P, vorax.
