Estudio de la interacción fósforo cinc usando diferentes fuentes en tres suelos de la Sierra ecuatoriana

Description: Estudios de laboratorio e invernadero, fueron conducidos en el Departamentó de Suelos de la Estación Experimental Santa Catalina INIAP, con tres suelos inceptisoles de la sierra ecuatoriana, durante 1977. • Gomo planta indicadora se utilizó sorgo ( Sorghum vulgare Pers.) Los objetivos del experimento fueron : 1. Determinar las dosis adecuadas de fósforo y cinc para obtener la - relación correcta entre estos dos nutrimentos 2 Comparar la acción de dos fuentes de cinc frente a tres fuentes de fósforo. 3. Estudiar la correlación entre los análisis de suelo, análisis foliar y la respuesta de rendimiento a la aplicación de estos elementos.
Laboratory and greenhouse studies were conducted in the Soils Department of the Santa Catalina Experimental Station of INIAP. on three inceptisols of the Ecuatorian Sierra in 1977, Sorghum (Sorghum vulgare Pers.) was utilized as the indicator plant. The objectives of the experiment were: 1. To determine the adequate rates of phosphorus and zinc applications in order to obtain the correct relation between these two nutrients 2. To compare the action of the two sources of zinc against the three sources of phosphorus. 3. To study the correlation between the soil analyses, the foliar analyses and the yield response to the application of these elements.
