Comportamiento de germoplasma de maní (arachis hypogaea l.) al parasitismo de los nematodos agalladores meloidogyne incógnita y nacobbus aberrans y evaluación agronómica en el Valle del Chota Imbabura

La investigación se realizó en el 2009 en el Valle del Chota, provincia de Imbabura, cantón Ibarra, parroquia Ambuquí, sector La Playa y en el laboratorio de Nematología deí Departamento de Protección Vegetal del Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIAP) en Quito. El objetivo de esta investigación ñie identificar materiales de maní con resistencia o tolerancia a M. incógnita y N. aberrans, que se desarrollen adecuadamente a las condiciones del valle del Chota para integrarlos al sistema de producción de tomate de mesa. Con este propósito se ejecutaron dos experimentos. En el primero, diez accesiones y dos variedades comerciales de maní fueron evaluadas al parasitismo de los dos nematodos. A seis plantas de cada material, crecidas en macetas, fueron inoculadas con 35 000 huevos y larvas J2 de cada nematodo y a seis no se inocularon. Se utilizó como testigo referencial al tomate de mesa variedad Fortuna únicamente para determinar la confiabilidad de los resultados.
The research was conducted in 2009 in the Valle del Chota, Imbabura, Ibarra canton, parish Ambuqui, sector La Playa and the Nematology Lab Plant Protection Department of the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIAP), Quito-Ecuador. The objective of this research was to identify peanut material with resistance or tolerance to M. incognita and N. aberram, in order to integrate the system of production of the table tomato into Chota valley conditions. For this purpose two experiments were carried out. In the first experiment, ten accessions and two commercial varieties of peanuts were evaluated for the two nematode parasites. Six plants of each material, grown in pots, were inoculated with 35.000 eggs and J2 of each nematode larvae. Six were not inoculated. Was used as a reference controlthe table tomato, variety Fortuna, to determine the reliability of the results.
