Estrategia de control del ácaro (Eotetranychus n.r deflexus Mc Gregor) en el cultivo de babaco (Carica pentagona Heilbornni) bajo invernadero en la Provincia de Pichincha

El presente trabajo se realizó, en la propiedad del Sr Raúl Vargas ubicada, en la provincia de Pichincha, cantón Quito, parroquia Yaruqui, sitio San Vicente que tiene una altitud de 2480 m.s.n.m con una temperatura promedio anual de 15.7 °C y una precipitación promedio anual 867 mm. Las características del invernadero fueron; temperatura máxima de 40,8 °C y minina de 8.2°C ; humedad máxima de 99% y mínima de 19%. Los objetivos que se plantearon en este ensayo fueron: A. Determinar la eficiencia y persistencia de los acaricidas de diferente modo de acción, grupo químico y origen diferente ,en el control de ácaros en el cultivo de Babaco (Carica pentágono) B. Determinar la mejor dosis de los acaricidas seleccionados. C. Determinar la mejor rotación de acaricidas que mantengan un nivel poblacional bajo que no afecte la calidad comercial del fruto. D. Identificar la rentabilidad, de 1a mejor rotación de acaricidas, en el control de de ácaros en el cultivo de Babaco.
This work was done on the property of Mr. Raul Vargas, located in the Pichincha province, Quito county, Yaruqui parish, San Vicente sector which has an altitude of 2, 480 m.s.n.m. with an annual average temperature of 15.7°C and an average yearly rainfall of 867 mm. The characteristics o f the green house were: maximum temperature 40.8°C and minimum 8.2°C; maximum humidity 99% and minimum 19%. The objectives that were presented in this experiment were: A. To determine the efficacy and persistence of the acaracides o f a different way o f action, chemical and different origin, in the control of mites in the cultivation of Babaco (Carica pentágono). B. To determine the best dose of the selected acarids. C. To determine the best rotation o f acarids that maintain a low population level which doesn't affect the commercial quality o f the fruit. D. To identify the rentability, the best acarid rotation, in the control o f mites in the cultivation of Babaco.
