El presente trabajo centra su investigación en el análisis del conjunto cerámico de la cultura Puruhá registrado en la Parroquia Sucre, mediante la identificación iconográfica de sus elementos simbólicos. El desarrollo de la propuesta parte de una investigación de campo, desarrollada por medio de la observación directa del análisis morfológico de las piezas cerámicas con la finalidad de caracterizar los vestigios en relación a su funcionalidad en contextos domésticos y ceremoniales para establecer las categorías formales en relación a las actividades desarrolladas en el sitio de hallazgo. El resultado final registrado en este documento toma como elemento principal al estudio del proceso morfológico basado en criterios geométricos, identificando atributos como la simetría, estructura, contorno, forma, dimensiones y espesor de cada pieza cerámica, en relación al contexto funerario, doméstico y/o ritual, lo cual permitirá, mediante la interpretación formal e iconográfica, la identificación analógica de la cultura Puruhá, para una estructuración de nuevas alternativas artesanales dirigidas al desarrollo social, cultural y productivo de la zona.
The present work focuses its investigation on the analysis of the ceramic set of the Puruhá culture registered in the Parish Sucre, through the iconographic identification of its symbolic elements. The development of the proposal is based on a field research, developed through the direct observation of the morphological analysis of the ceramic pieces in order to characterize the vestiges in relation to their functionality in domestic and ceremonial contexts to establish the formal categories in relation to the activities developed at the site of discovery. The final result recorded in this document takes as main element the study of the morphological process based on geometric criteria, identifying attributes such as the symmetry, structure, contour, shape, dimensions and thickness of each ceramic piece, in relation to the funeral, domestic and / or ritual, which will allow, through formal and iconographic interpretation, the analogical identification of the Puruhá culture, for a structuring of new artisan alternatives directed to the social, cultural and productive development of the area.
