CONDUCTA AGRESIVA ASOCIADA A FACTORES SOCIODEMOGRÁFICOS EN LOS CONDUCTORES DE QUITO

La presente investigación se orienta a conocer los factores sociodemográficos que intervienen para que un conductor en su actividad diaria, llegue a actuar con agresividad hacia otros conductores o que se vea reflejada hacia sí mismo. La investigación inició con la aplicación de un cuestionario a los conductores de autobuses, taxis, vehículos de carga, buses escolares, inter-parroquiales y particulares. El cuestionario que recoge datos psicosociales como edad, sexo, tiempo de conducción como profesión, tiempo de conducir en el día y tipo de vehículo que conducen. Posteriormente a la misma población se aplicó el Inventario de Expresión de la Ira del Conductor (DAX) para identificar cuáles son las expresiones agresivas más frecuentes de acuerdo al vehículo que conducen. Entre los resultados más importantes se evidencia que la agresividad verbal es más frecuente, especialmente en los conductores de autobuses; a diferencia de los conductores de vehículos escolares que presentan bajo nivel de agresividad en la conducción. De igual manera, la agresividad al conducir se presenta con mayor frecuencia en los conductores que tienen un nivel de instrucción primaria.
The present investigation is oriented to know sociodemographic factors that intervene in drivers daily activity, that leads them act aggressively against other drivers or that is reflected towards him. The investigation began with the application of a questionnaire to drivers of buses, taxis, freight vehicles, school buses, rural transportation and selftransportation. The questionnaire collects psychosocial data such as age, sex, driving time as a profession, daily driving time, and type of vehicle they drive. Subsequently to the same population, the Driver's Anger Expression Inventory (DAX) was applied to identify which are the most frequent aggressive expressions according to the vehicle they drive. Among the most important results it is evident that verbal aggression is more frequent, especially in bus drivers; unlike the drivers of school vehicles that have a low level of aggressive driving.
