Evaluación del Uso Recreativo y Turístico del Refugio de Vida Silvestre Pasochoa

Description: Se presenta una caracterización introductoria sobre la situación de la integración a las redes locales de turismo, incluyendo la infraestructura turística del Refugio de Vida Silvestre Pasochoa, basada en una entrevista y en encuestas aplicadas a los visitantes de esta área protegida. Se vislumbra que la misma es un escenario apropiado para la implementación del turismo sostenible, basado en un cuerpo organizado de guías, una vía de acceso en buenas condiciones, un enfoque de educación ambiental en las actividades turísticas, el respeto a la normativa vigente sobre turismo en áreas protegidas, y en el mejoramiento y mantenimiento permanente de su infraestructura.
An introductory characterization is presented about the situation of integration to local tourism networks, including the tourist infrastructure, of the Refugio de Vida Silvestre Pasochoa, based in an interview and surveys that have been applied to visitors of this protected area. It can be seen, that it’s an appropriate stage for the implementation of sustainable tourism, based on an organized group of guides, paths in good conditions, an approach in environmental education in tourism activities, the respect of the current regulations about tourism in protected areas, and the permanent improvement and maintenance of its structure.
