Description

A proposal for a mathematical representation of the cognitive process for the presentation, understanding and use of virtual learning environments with 3D environments is presented. For this purpose, initially it is considered adding a concept of three-dimensional process in every step of the traditional learning process. The following items are designed by mathematical modeling using Finite Automaton concepts which allows representing different stages of design parameters according to the designer. It may be purely sequential environment in a two-dimensional (2D) as well three-dimensional designs (3D) creating multiple models in parallel. This technic is specifically applied to the learning and use of virtual classrooms. The contents are varied from navigation simulation courses of merchant ships and war to geometry contents related to mosaics, tessellations and fractals. To create these environments and objects 3D, the Sketchup free software was used
