En la presente unidad did?ctica se hace referencia a todas las caracter?sticas de la cultura Kayambi tales como: situaci?n geogr?fica, econ?mica, caracter?sticas culturales, l?deres ind?genas, organizaci?n sociopol?tica para rescatar esta cultura frente a la globalizaci?n, mediante el estudio de sus ra?ces culturales y as? futuras generaciones las mantengan vivas con altivez y orgullo. La cultura Kayambi se encuentra en la parte norte de la provincia de Pichincha y sur de la provincia de Imbabura, su principal actividad econ?mica en la actualidad es la actividad agr?cola, flor?cola, ganadera y artesanal, mantiene vivas sus pr?cticas culturales a trav?s del inti raymi que es el agradecimiento a la madre tierra por sus cosechas, el legado que han dejado sus l?deres ind?genas como Tr?nsito Amagu?a, Dolores Cacuango y Jes?s Gualavis? , para ser reconocidos en igualdad de derechos econ?micos, sociales y pol?ticos, que hoy en d?a tenemos representaciones pol?ticas en el gobierno cantonal del partido pol?tico Pachacutik
In this didactic unit we reference to all the characteristics of the Kayambi culture such as: geographical, economic situation, cultural characteristics, indigenous leaders, sociopolitical organization to rescue this culture opposite of the globalization, through studying its cultural roots and thus future generations keep them alive with pride. The Kayambi culture is located in the northern part of the province of Pichincha and south of the province of Imbabura, its main economic activity at present is the agricultural, floricultural, livestock and artisanal activity, keeps alive its cultural practices through the inti raymi that is the gratitude to Mother Earth for her harvests, the legacy left by her indigenous leaders such as: Tr?nsito Amagu?a, Dolores Cacuango and Jes?s Gualavis?, they have been recognized in equal economic, social and political rights, that today we have political representations in the cantonal government of the political party Pachacutik
