El presente trabajo de investigaci?n, denominado ?El proceso educativo en la transferencia de los saberes ancestrales en la Zona sur de Ecuador? tuvo como prop?sito verificar la aplicaci?n del Modelo del Sistema de Educaci?n Intercultural Biling?e (MOSEIB) en los Centros Educativos Comunitarios Interculturales Biling?es de la Zona sur de Ecuador. Tiene un enfoque mixto, de tipo exploratorio descriptivo. Para recabar informaci?n, se aplic? una encuesta construida en base a los criterios e indicadores de evaluaci?n en el proceso de gesti?n del curr?culo del MOSEIB, instrumento que fue aplicado al 36.5% de los docentes inscritos en Educaci?n Inter- cultural Biling?e, pertenecientes al Ministerio de Educaci?n en las Provincias de Loja, Zamora y El Oro, lo que representa la muestra no probabil?stica. Se encuest? a 208 de los 570 docentes. El an?lisis del presente estudio se apoy? de la teor?a y el respaldo legal vigente, lleg?ndose a la conclusi?n que la aplicaci?n del MOSEIB se da en un 53.3% de los casos en un nivel bueno, el 18.3% de las ocasiones en un nivel muy bueno, y el restante en niveles regulares y deficientes, ya que existen falencias que limitan la transferencia de saberes ancestrales. En gran parte, el problema de la p?rdida de identidad social es por la limitada formaci?n y capacitaci?n docente, as? como tambi?n el poco compromiso de la comunidad y todos los miembros del sistema educativo intercultural biling?e, los cuales deben trabajar mancomunadamente por mantener y rescatar su cultura y su lengua originaria.
The purpose of this research work called ?The educational process in the transfer of ancestral knowledge in the southern zone of Ecuador? was intended to verify the application of the Bilingual Intercultural Education System Model (MOSEIB) in the Intercultural Bilingual Community Educational Centers of the Southern zone of Ecuador. It has a mixed approach, with a descriptive exploratory type; a survey was applied to collect information, based on the evaluation criteria and indicators set on the MOSEIB curriculum, this instrument was applied to 36.5% of the teachers that are enrolled in the Bilingual Intercultural Education Program that belongs to the Ministry of Education, in the provinces of Loja, El Oro and Zamora. In total, 208 out of 570 teachers were surveyed. The present study was supported by the theory and the legal backup, reaching the conclusion that the application of the MOSEIB occurs in 53.3% of the cases at a good level, 18.3% of the time it is applied at a very good level, and the rest of the ocations at regular and deficient levels, since there are shortcomings that limit the transfer of ancestral knowledge. The loss of social identity is due to limited teacher education and training, as well as the lack of commitment of the community and all the members of the bilingual intercultural educational system, who must work together to maintain and rescue their culture and their native language.
