Siguiendo la iniciativa de innovar las formas de hacer investigaci?n educativa y a trav?s de metodolog?as que comprenden la mediaci?n de las expresiones art?sticas, se propone la investigaci?n basada en las artes (IBA), como puntal de las experiencias de un grupo de estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Educaci?n del Ecuador (UNAE), dentro del proyecto de Residencia de Investigaci?n Art?stica (RIA) que se realiz? durante la pandemia mundial del 2020. Los ejes principales de este trabajo parten desde la experiencia de investigar en l?nea, en los espacios que emergen con la tecnolog?a, para el intercambio de informaci?n y de din?micas subjetivas en tiempos de teleinvestigaci?n. Se presentan referencias te?ricas del arte postal y se revisan, desde las tendencias art?sticas y performativas de la IBA, las composiciones de texto e imagen creadas por los participantes de la experiencia. Desde esa perspectiva metodol?gica y como parte del proceso de sistematizaci?n de la experiencia RIA, se muestran c?mo los m?todos heur?sticos trabajan a partir de la ausencia de lo presencial. A trav?s de una propuesta como la del arte postal (mail art), se logran recolectar las opiniones, expectativas y sentires de los colaboradores de la experiencia, como una din?mica alternativa para un grupo focal.
Following the idea of innovating in the ways of doing educational research through methodologies that include the mediation of artistic expressions, the notion of arts-based research (ABR) is proposed as the basis of the experiences of a group of students from the Universidad Nacional de Educaci?n del Ecuador (UNAE) within the project of Residencia de Investigaci?n Art?stica (Artistic Research Residency, RIA for its Spanish acronym) during the global pandemic of the 2020. The main axes of this work start from the experience of researching online, in the spaces that emerge with technology for the exchange of information and subjective dynamics in times of tele-research; references with theorists of postal art are presented; and the compositions of text and images created by the participants of the experience are reviewed from the artistic and performative tendencies of the IBA. From this methodological perspective, and as part of the process of systematizing the RIA experience, it is shown how heuristic methods work from the absence of the presence. And through a proposal like that of postal art, opinions, expectations and feelings of the collaborators of the experience are collected as an alternative dynamic for a focus group.
