The following work is inserted in the discussion about the economic repercussions of the generation of more free time, due to the effect of “intelligent work”. The study intends to encourage a reflection on the need to abandon the old labor regimes, emphasizing in the economic advantages that this entails. The hypothesis on which this study is based is that more free time would generate greater internal consumption. Therefore, the introduction analyzes the state of the art on the subject of intelligent work, identified as a generator of free time, and shows successful cases as a result of its adoption. It also ponders on the importance of free time in the economy. The methodology adopted for field research is exploratory, descriptive and analytical methodology.
El siguiente trabajo se inserta en la discusión sobre las repercusiones económicas de la generación de mayor tiempo libre, por efecto del “trabajo inteligente”. El estudio tiene el propósito de empujar a una reflexión sobre la necesidad de abandonar los antiguos regímenes laborales, enfatizando en las ventajas económicas que esto conlleva. La hipótesis sobre la cual se basa este estudio es que con mayor tiempo libre se generaría mayor consumo interno. Por lo tanto, en la introducción se analiza el estado del arte sobre el tema del trabajo inteligente, identificado como generador de tiempo libre, y se muestra casos exitosos fruto de su adopción; asimismo, se reflexiona sobre la importancia del tiempo libre en la economía. La metodología adoptada para la investigación de campo es de tipo exploratoria, descriptiva y analítica.
