Sweet Illusion is an artistic ? entertainment performance, that offers a multi-sensory experience, which is achieved by the use of projection mapping as the main technique, with a modest budget and high technology resources. This multimedia experience challenges the five senses of the guests by delivering in a new way a well-known experience as eating desserts. This project is the result of an artistic experimentation process from computer graphics creation techniques to flavours, textures and appearance in a culinary field. The performance pretends to stimulate the human senses, provoke reactions and create evident or imaginary relationships between the virtual environments and the desserts. Participants are invited to question, feel, interact and explore a new dining experience in the digital era.
El presente estudio identifica la posibilidad de generar una performance art?stica y de entretenimiento, que manipule los cinco sentidos de los participantes, mediante el uso de la t?cnica conocida como projection mapping, considerando una alta limitaci?n en torno al presupuesto y los recursos tecnol?gicos.
