In Ecuador, the fishing activity at the artisan level has developed significantly, and with this increase, high seas piracy has spread. In maritime environments, where there is not a possibility of setting up a wireless network infrastructure, arises the need for an ad hoc mobile network for connectivity between small boats and the coast guard that would provide assistance during emergencies. This bibliographic research focuses on the solution of this problem, analyzing the actual state of the art of MANET networks, applied to the design of a Ship ad hoc Network, (SANET), which will allow determining its characteristics its development and configuration, tailored towards satisfying the needs of communication for the safety of fishermen.
En Ecuador, la actividad pesquera a nivel artesanal ha desarrollado significativamente, y con este aumento, se ha extendido la pirater?a de alta mar. En ambientes mar?timos, donde no hay posibilidad de establecer una infraestructura de red inal?mbrica, surge la necesidad de redes m?viles ad hoc para la conectividad entre peque?as embarcaciones y el guardacostas que proporcionar?a asistencia. La presente Investigaci?n bibliogr?fica se enfoca en la soluci?n de ?ste problema, analizando el estado del arte de redes MANET aplicado al dise?o de una Ship ad hoc Network, (SANET), lo cual permitir? determinar sus caracter?sticas para su desarrollo y configuraci?n, adaptada a las necesidades de comunicaci?n y seguridad de los pescadores artesanales
