In this essay, the Mexican writer Eloy Urroz pays tribute to the 400th anniversary of the publication of El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha, part 2, by Cervantes. It is a very personal interpretation in which the author establishes a parallelism between Sancho and Don Quixote´s adventure and the flight they make, instigated by the dukes, towards the kingdom of Candaya and Clavileño the horse, and what is that fantastic journey´s experience experience by people when they get on the Soarin mechanical simulator located at the Epcot Center theme park in Orlando, Florida; experience that is revealed as a sort of antecedent or anticipation of what centuries later, in modernity and with the consolidation of cinema, would make reality, within that game of displacement or detachments of fiction, Disney. Tribute and exaltation of a ground breaking novel whose powers of seduction, recreation and inventiveness, the works of Disney on screen became real.
En este ensayo, el escritor mexicano Eloy Urroz rinde tributo a los 400 años de la publicación de la segunda parte de El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de La Mancha, de Cervantes. Se trata de una lectura muy personal en la que el autor establece un paralelismo entre lo que es la aventura entre Sancho y don Quijote y el vuelo que realizan, instigados por los duques, rumbo al reino de Candaya con el caballo Clavileño, y lo que es la experiencia de ese viaje fantástico que las personas experimentan al subirse en el simulador mecánico Soarin en el parque temático de Epcot Center, en Orlando, Florida; experiencia que se revela como una especie de antecedente o anticipación de lo que siglos después, en la modernidad y con la consolidación del cine, haría realidad, dentro de ese juego de desplazamiento o desprendimientos de la ficción, Disney. Tributo y exaltación de una novela fundacional cuyos poderes de seducción, recreación e inventiva, el trabajo de Disney en la pantalla convirtió en realidad.
