Description

The arrival of streaming platforms marked a turning point in cinema consumption mechanisms because of the flexibility of the time-space factor. It becomes customary. However, this relationship has also been deformed as the publics conscience relocated itself. Therefore, it is likely that this new system is organic to creative processes and their reception by viewers mediated by technological devices. The present work aims to locate the new place that time and space occupy in the relationship between cinema and its audience and the presence of the aura in this transaction. To do this, a brief review of the subject-spectator will be made in the face of cinematographic practices and the codes that allow, or not, to overcome the limits of the here and now suggested by Walter Benjamin in his text “The work of art in the time of mechanical reproduction”.
La llegada de las plataformas de streaming ha marcado un punto de quiebre en los mecanismos de consumo del cine, principalmente porque el factor tiempo-espacio se flexibiliza infinitamente. Se “customiza”. Sin embargo, la relación ya no de la obra de arte ni del cine, sino de los sujetos con su propio espacio, también se ha deformado, o al menos su percepción de él. Por lo tanto, es probable que este cisma sea natural a los procesos creativos y su recepción por parte de los espectadores mediados por los dispositivos tecnológicos. El presente trabajo pretende descifrar el nuevo lugar que ocupan el tiempo y el espacio en la relación entre el cine y su público, así como la presencia del aura en esta transacción. Para ello, se hará una breve revisión del sujeto-espectador frente a las prácticas cinematográficas y se analizarán los códigos que permiten, o no, superar los límites del aquí y el ahora sugeridos por Walter Benjamin en su texto “La obra de arte en su época de reproductibilidad técnica”.
