Description: El artículo trata sobre diferentes visiones de la política exterior brasilera. Primero introduce las principales directivas de la política exterior: desarrollo económico y social, así como delimitación limítrofe con los países de América del Sur. La segunda establece la situación de las relaciones de Brasil luego de la guerra fría, con algunos países y regiones en el mundo: Estados Unidos, Unión Europea, América Latina, China, África, India y otras regiones. Finalmente se refiere a los intereses nacionales brasileros en las Naciones Unidas en campos como energía, medio ambiente y defensa.
This paper deals with different views of the Brazilian foreign policy. First, it introduces foreign policy main directives: economic and social development as well as border delimitation with other South American countries. Secondly, it shows the situation of Brazilian relations after the Cold War with the countries and regions of the World: the United States (US), the European Union (EU), Latin America, China, Africa, India and other regions. Finally, it looks at Brazilian national interest in the United Nations (UN) and on the following fields: on energy, on environment and on defense.
