Venezuela atraviesa una situación social, política, económica y humanitaria muy crítica, motivos por los cuales su población se ha visto en la obligación de migrar hacia los diferentes países del mundo. Ecuador es uno de los países que la comunidad venezolana a escogido como principal opción de tránsito y de estadía. Al ser una situación social desconocida, amerita el análisis de la condición socio económica y las dificultades que presenta esta población en los diversos ámbitos, razón fundamental para el desarrollo del trabajo investigativo. El objetivo de esta investigación es conocer los factores socio económicos que inciden en la integración de la comunidad venezolana en situación de movilidad humana que actualmente residen en la ciudad de Cuenca y son beneficiarios de los servicios de HIAS (Organización Hebrea para Ayuda a Inmigrantes y Refugiados); también el estudio ha permitido establecer una propuesta de intervención desde la perspectiva del Trabajo Social que contribuya a la inserción local de esta población. Este trabajo fue posible alcanzar a partir del análisis de la información obtenida de las encuestas aplicadas a los beneficiarios del proyecto que ejecuta HIAS.
Venezuela is going through a very critical social, political, economic and humanitarian situation, reasons why its population has been forced to migrate to the different countries of the world. Ecuador is one of the countries that the Venezuelan community has chosen as the main option of transit and stay. Since it is an unknown social situation, it deserves the analysis of the socio-economic condition and the difficulties that this population presents in the different areas, a fundamental reason for the development of research work. The objective of this research is to know the socio-economic factors that affect the integration of the Venezuelan community in a situation of human mobility that currently reside in the city of Cuenca and are beneficiaries of the services of HIAS (Hebrew Organization for Assistance to Immigrants and Refugees); the study has also made it possible to establish an intervention proposal from the perspective of Social Work that contributes to the local insertion of this population. This work was possible to achieve from the analysis of the information obtained from the surveys applied to the beneficiaries of the project that runs HIAS.
