Factores que influyen en el cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación de niños/as que acuden al Centro de Salud Paccha período mayo - octubre 2018

Antecedentes: El bienestar de los niños/as es importante para el sector salud,\npor ello se ha implementado estrategias donde la prevención es una de ellas a\ntravés del Programa Ampliado de Inmunizaciones. Según la OMS, la\ninmunización evita cada año entre 2 a 3 millones de muertes por difteria,\ntétanos, tos ferina y sarampión, si se cumpliera con la cobertura vacunal mundial\nse podría evitar otros 1,5 millones.\nObjetivo: Identificar los factores que influyen en el cumplimiento de vacunación\nde los niños/as que acuden al Centro de Salud Paccha, periodo Mayo – Octubre\ndel 2018.\nMaterial y Métodos: Estudio con diseño de tipo descriptivo, aplicada con\nenfoque cuantitativo, de campo con corte transversal y con temporalidad\nprospectiva con una población y muestra de 105 cuidadores de niños/as que\nacuden al Centro de Salud Paccha, se utilizó un cuestionario de 21 preguntas\ndistribuidas con factores socioeconómicos, culturales e institucionales, para el\nanálisis de los resultados se utilizó el programa SPSS versión 23.\nResultados: Se obtuvo los siguientes resultados el 57,1% de niños/as que no\ncumple con el esquema de vacunación refiere; que las posibles reacciones de\nla vacunación son motivo para no acudir al Centro de Salud, además indican\nque cuando acuden a vacunar al niño/a, no encuentran las vacunas que le\ncorresponde. Por su parte el 42,9% de niños/as que cumple con el esquema de\nvacunación considera que las posibles reacciones adversas no es motivo para\nno llevar a vacunar al niño/a y refiere que cuando acude a vacunar al niño/a, a\nveces encuentran las vacunas que le corresponde.\nConclusiones: Se concluyó en nuestro estudio que los factores que influyen en\nel cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación son los culturales debido a la poca\ninformación que brinda el personal de salud sobre las reacciones de las vacunas\ny los institucionales debido a que no cuenta con disponibilidad de biológicos.
Background: The well-being of children is important to the health sector, which is\nwhy strategies have been implemented where prevention is one of them through the\nExpanded Programme on Immunization. According to OMS, immunization prevents\nbetween 2 of 3 million deaths from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and measles each\nyear, but if global immunization coverage were met, another 1.5 million could be\navoided.\nObjective: To identify the factors that influence vaccination adherence of children\nattending the Paccha Health Center, May - October 2018.\nMaterial and Methods: Study with descriptive type design, the purpose pursued is\napplied with quantitative approach of cross-sectional field and with prospective\ntemporality with a population and sample of 105 caregivers of children who come to\nthe Paccha Health Center was used a questionnaire of 21 questions distributed with\nsocioeconomic, cultural and institutional factors, for the analysis of the results was\nused the program SPSS version 23.\nResults: The following results were obtained for 57.1% of children who do not\ncomply with the referred vaccination scheme; that the possible reactions of\nvaccination are a reason not to go to the Health Centre and also indicate that when\nthey go to vaccinate the child, they do not find the corresponding vaccines. On the\nother hand, 42.9% of children who comply with the vaccination scheme consider\nthat possible adverse reactions are not a reason not to have the child vaccinated,\nand refer that when they come to vaccinate the child, they sometimes find the\ncorresponding vaccines.\nConclusions: It was concluded in our study that the factors that influence the\nfulfillment of the vaccination scheme are the cultural ones due to the little information\nprovided by the health personnel on the reactions of the vaccines and the\ninstitutional ones due to the fact that there is not enough biological count.
