La presente investigación es sobre el tema “PORTAL EDUCATIVO OFIMÁTICO” y su incidencia en el \naprendizaje significativo de la asignatura de computación en los estudiantes de 5to, 6to y 7mo año de \neducación básica de la Escuela “Tomas Rendón” del cantón el Valle de la ciudad de Cuenca. \nConsiste en mejorar el nivel de conocimiento que poseen actualmente los alumnos a través de las TICs que \ncontiene el Portal Web, estas TICs podrán aportar en la enseñanza del estudiante de manera rápida y eficaz, ya \nque les facilitará el estudio, porque al momento que el profesor explique con los videos tutoriales ellos podrán \nir practicando en su respectiva máquina. \nYa que su método de enseñanza es la habitual donde el profesor les enseña de manera oral, mientras que \nlos estudiantes solo transcriben la teoría y no tienen un aprendizaje práctico que es la que ayuda al estudiante a \nmejorar su conocimiento \nCabe mencionar que la implementación del Portal web va a mejorar el nivel de educación del alumno, si \nquiere aprender sobre el Microsoft office irán al Portal Web observa los tutoriales y empezaran a aprender. \nEl sistema fue diseñado utilizando una metodología RUP que es un proceso de desarrollo de software que \ntrabaja junto con el Lenguaje Unificado de Modelado UML y constituye la metodología estándar más utilizada \npara el análisis, implementación y documentación de sistemas orientados a objetos, el lenguaje de \nprogramación utilizado fue el IDE Netbeans 7.3. Utilizando el gestor de base de datos phpMyadmin.
