Los proyectos de vivienda social en altura, desde sus inicios fueron desarrollados con la finalidad de solventar el déficit de vivienda y el aprovechamiento del suelo, provocado por diferentes cambios sociales, políticos, económicos y demográficos, siendo favorecida la población más vulnerable, la clase social baja y media. \nEl objetivo del presente trabajo investigativo es el de analizar y comparar el tipo de calidad habitacional que los residentes experimentan en este tipo de proyectos de interés social, ya que en la mayoría de los casos se ha visto que viven en espacios pequeños y relegados de la zona urbana, proporcionándoles inconvenientes, problemas y una mala calidad de vida. Los resultados obtenidos en base al análisis comparativo realizado, sirvieron para desarrollar estrategias de diseño y recomendaciones que vayan encaminadas a mejorar la calidad habitacional de los residentes de este tipo de edificaciones y al mismo tiempo generar conciencia y responsabilidad dentro del campo profesional puesto que los proyectos deben ir enfocados a mejorar la calidad de vida del usuario.
Social housing projects in height, from its inception were developed with the aim of solving the housing deficit and land use, caused by different social, political, economic and demographic changes, being favored the most vulnerable population, social class low and medium. The objective of this research work is to analyze and compare the type of housing quality that residents experience in this type of projects of social interest, since in most cases it has been seen that they live in small and relegated spaces of the urban area, providing inconveniences, problems and poor quality of life. The results obtained based on the comparative analysis, served to develop design strategies and recommendations that are aimed at improving the housing quality of residents of this type of buildings and at the same time generate awareness and responsibility within the professional field since the projects should be focused on improving the quality of life of the user.
