El presente Trabajo de Graduación tiene como fin el desarrollo del “ANTEPROYECTO ARQUITECTÓNICO PARA LA ELABORACIÓN DE UN CENTRO GERIÁTRICO EN LA PARROQUIA DE TURI, PROVINCIA DEL AZUAY” que apunta a proveer de un equipamiento que preste servicios a los sectores de Turi, dirigido a un grupo humano olvidado y desamparad.Esta necesidad nace de una petición de los habitantes de Turi y de sus autoridades al no disponer de un equipamiento que brinde este tipo de servicio, es por eso que se buscan alternativas que generen beneficios al adulto mayor de Turi, visualizando desde un enfoque social, económico y de salud, con el propósito de conocer las insuficiencias que se presenten. Enfocarnos sobre las particularidades como su crecimiento poblacional, ámbito cultural y físico de la parroquia.Estudiar las características físicas, espirituales y emocionales de las personas de la tercera edad, las condiciones y limitaciones difíciles que atraviesa, respetando su participación en la sociedad, reconociendo sus derechos, permitiendo que formen parte activa de la sociedad y no fuera de ella, entendiendo su proceso progresivo de problemas motrices y por ende una mayor demanda de asistencia que se presenta durante el trascurso de su vida. Comprender su transición de internación temporal o permanente lo que implica pasar de la casa propia a una institución geriátrica.Tales requerimientos por parte del adulto mayor, serán respondidos mediante una propuesta que cubra los requerimientos del usuario y tengamos una arquitectura para la tercera edad, diseñando espacios arquitectónicos que eviten los riesgos asociados con el envejecimiento, un parque biosaludable, considerar las barreras arquitectónicas, ordenanzas, bases legales.Con la variedad de soluciones arquitectónicas que se ostenta para la solución de la problemática expuesta, se busca devolverle un espacio que vaya más allá de las recomendaciones técnicas, donde entrará la imaginación para que el anciano lo perciba como su hogar, borrando así esa imagen de institución, además se busca armonizar la coexistencia entre la naturaleza y sus habitantes, articular a nivel espacial y visual, logrando un proyecto definido por la combinación de espacios que se relacionnen con el exterior, y no se convierta en un testigo silencioso.
This research aims at the development of ANTEPROYECTO ARQUITECTÓNICO PARA LA ELABORACIÓN DE UN CENTRO GERIÁTRICO EN LA PARROQUIA DE TURI, PROVINCIA DEL AZUAY"" pointing on providing equipment that renders services to the parish of Turi, led to a forsaken and forgotten group of this parish. This need stems from a request of the inhabitants of Turi and its authorities, the absence of a facility that provides this type of service is why alternatives that generate benefits to the elderly Turi sought, viewing from a social approach, economic and health, in order to meet the shortfalls. Focus on the particularities as its population growth, cultural and physical environment of the parish. Study the physical, spiritual and emotional characteristics of people of the third age, conditions and limitations difficult crossing, respecting their participation in society, recognizing their rights, allowing an active part of society and not outside it, understanding progressive mobility issues and therefore greater demand for assistance shown during the course of his life. Understanding the transition from temporary admission or permanent implying move from home to a geriatric institution. Such requirements by the elderly, will be answered by a proposal that meets user requirements and have an architecture for senior citizens, designing architectural spaces to avoid the risks associated with aging, such as a bio-healthy park, consider the barriers architectural, ordinances, legal and cultural foundations. With the variety of architectural solutions set outs for the solution of the problems set out, it seeks to restore a space that goes beyond the technical recommendations, where the imagination for the elderly perceive it as their home, thus erasing the image institution also seeks to harmonize the coexistence between nature and its inhabitants, articulate in space and visual level, achieving a project defined by the combination of spaces that dialogue with the outside, and not become a silent witness.
