“El ser humano en la actualidad es capaz de residir prácticamente en cualquier lugar del planeta, gracias a diferentes métodos y equipos mecánicos que le permiten conseguir habitabilidad y de cierto modo un confort en la vivienda a un alto precio si se toma en cuenta el daño ambiental que esto conlleva. Por el contrario con la arquitectura bioclimática se piensa que la sociedad debe tomar en serio el problema ambiental que afecta a todos los habitantes del planeta Tierra”. Un problema general es la falta de criterios arquitectónicos y ambientales, para diseñar y construir viviendas considerando las condiciones climáticas de un sector determinado, el objetivo de la presente investigación es crear un manual técnico de recomendaciones bioclimáticas para el diseño de vivienda unifamiliar, fomentando así la sustentabilidad del proyecto y dejar una puerta abierta para el desarrollo sostenible del cantón Santa Isabel ubicado en la provincia del Azuay, para alcanzar este objetivo se realizó un análisis climatológico en base a datos estadísticos del INAMHI en el cantón, luego se estudió los parámetros de confort, higrotérmico, lumínico, acústico, olfativo y psicológico que afectan a los habitantes del lugar, para culminar con el análisis de las herramientas bioclimáticas, obteniendo así como resultando de la investigación, las recomendaciones bioclimáticas de diseño de vivienda unifamiliar a implantar en el cantón Santa Isabel, con las que se puede conseguir el nivel de confort y habitabilidad adecuado para los usuarios.
Nowadays, human being is capable of living virtually anywhere on the planet, through different methodologies and mechanical equipment allowing to obtain a sense of roominess and comfort in housing at a high price if we consider the environmental damage that this involves. In contrast with bioclimatic architecture it is thought that society should take seriously the environmental problem that affects all inhabitants of planet Earth. A common problem is the lack of architectural and environmental criteria to design and build homes considering the climatic conditions in a specific sector, The aim of this research is to create a technical bioclimatic recommendations manual to the design of single family housing, thus promoting the sustainability of the project and leaving a door open for the sustainable development of the canton Santa Isabel located in the province of Azuay, to achieve this goal a climatological analysis was performed based on statistical data from the INAMHI in the canton, then a study of the parameters of comfort, hygrothermal, lighting, sound, smell and psychological which affect local residents, to end with bioclimatic analysis tools, obtaining the result in the research, bioclimatic design recommendations to implement single family housing in the canton Santa Isabel, which will be able to obtain the appropriate level of comfort and roominess for users
